Soundpainting is a revolutionary approach to multidisciplinary improvised performance and live composition. It offers an incredible opportunity to expand one’s creative capacity and improvisational possibilities. Read more about it HERE.

Andrea Ariel Dance Theatre is looking for artists to become fluent in the language and join the Austin Soundpainting Collective toward future performances, educational residencies and community workshops in Austin and beyond.

During these sessions we will work with improvisation structures and ensemble building games, learn and develop skills with Soundpainting, and conclude with a series of Soundpainting jams!  As part of creating “palettes” you will also have opportunities to bring/choreograph short pieces of material; bring/compose music or text to play with in our sessions.

You can let us know you are coming or send any questions you have here.
