Giving Tuesday, December 1st!

Giving Tuesday is worldwide celebration of generosity and a good reminder that every day is a good day to be generous. We are grateful for your generosity that supports our work and our ability to be generous to the community. It’s all connected. Please join me in raising funds to support Andrea Ariel Dance Theatre’s programs that engage with the community through arts education, classes for all ages and abilities, and performances created in collaboration with artists and community members. You can help me reach our goal HERE.

If you are not on Facebook you can make a donation directly to us at arieldance.org/donate.

Your contribution helps us pay our artists, keep operations going, and offer free and low cost programs and performances that keep creativity, dancing and community engagement happening in new ways!

Here’s all your support will help make happen in 2021! We’re making plans even if they have to be altered or be virtual for now.

Virtual Community classes and workshops

Community Voices Workshops offer a safe space for community members of all ages and abilities to be creative, share stories, move, engage in a dialogue, and explore innovative ways to meet, connect, and create with new people in the community.

Soundpainting for All! These workshops offer a super fun opportunity for a community group to move, dance, sing, speak, or play an instrument using guided improvisation and other creative structures along with members of the Austin Soundpainting Collective. Accessible to people of any age, experience, or ability. Your support helps us pay our artists for these community workshops and performances.

Move to the Music & Let’s Get Creative! Bringing together a variety of ways to get creative, move your body, breathe and connect with others in fun and creative ways, these classes can be adapted for participation for any age, experience or ability, even from sitting in a chair. The participants have ranged from ages 25 – 82! Your donation will help us make these classes free for seniors, people living in isolation and those facing economic disadvantages.

Education

ARTSPLUS, an arts-in-education program, held in Austin ISD schools for over 16 years, brings creative opportunities to youth of all ages and abilities. AADT is an Austin ISD Arts Partner and the schools are in need of funded programs. We are building funds to be able to offer schools our program that brings together art and academic learning for youth. It can be held virtually, outdoors, or in large spaces with distancing. Help us support creative learning for youth!
