Thanks for your support!

A big thanks to all who supported our Lawn Party & Performance benefit Sunday, June 13th. What a fabulous celebration it was because of you! When you look at the photos it reveals a wonderful renewal of being together again. New connections were made, past connections were discovered, and it was incredible to see our long-time friends and supporters in person again. Here’s a bit of a recap for those of you who couldn’t be there in person.

Many thanks to Steve Rogers for the fabulous photos capturing the evening. You can view them all HERE

Presenting our new work Spazio

The performances by dancers Whitney O’Baugh, Luis Armando Ordaz Gutiérrez, Ceci Proeger, and Ciceley Fullylove were stunning. Barefoot in the grass! They danced with deep connection and exquisite athleticism to bring the opening dance Spazio to life. It touched many hearts and expressed something we all are experiencing together about separation and re-connection. The exquisite music composed and performed live by Claude 9 from his upcoming album, Clouds of Love, perfectly lured us on the journey.

Live Composing with Soundpainting

Rey Arteaga, Andrew Nolte, and Leila Louis Henley brought their exceptional and diverse musical talents together with the dancers and Claude 9 for a wonderful improvised composition that I had the great pleasure of Soundpainting. We haven’t been together for over 1 ½ years and it felt like a dream. I feel so hungry to do more! The evening rounded out with a fabulous music set by Claude 9. What a great night it was!

Honoring our Board of Directors

As part of our 30-year celebration we honored two outgoing board members Molly Browning and Claudette Lowe for their ongoing commitment and dedicated service to AADT from 2014-2021. We appreciate their devotion to us and are grateful for their leadership and guidance in the growth of our organization. We welcome their continued involvement with the company as they become the first members of our Emeritus Board.

Thank you all so much again for your support! And a special hug to the 80+ people who came out for the event and sweated with us! It was a hot one and we are grateful you were there.

We are planning another party & performance for the fall when it’s cooler!
